Bonny babies : Many BPO firms grow at 100% - plus
Jan 06 2005 - The Economic Times Though the growth of the BPO sector is old hat, the extent of increase in revenues has come to light only now. BPO export revenues, according to Nasscom figures, grew from $2.4 billion in 2002-03 to $3.6 billion in 2003-04.
Though by all standards, a 50% growth in any industry is exceptional, several of the companies have been growing at almost 100% or even higher.
The clients are proactively increasing the size of the order though they do not have aggressive targets to begin with, they do scale up once they start to see the cost savings.
