Leading Hospital chooses FollowUpMD

PUNE: In an effort to improve communication between all those involved in healthcare and also re-engage with patients who have been discharged from the hospital, a leading multi-disciplinary hospital signed an memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SmartSourcer Consultants Pvt. Ltd. for their FollowUpMD program.

The program aims at bridging any communication gaps between the patients and their healthcare providers, will benefit all healthcare industry participants including patients, doctors and support service providers.

The Hospital has engaged the program on a pilot basis and has currently focused on the high priority Cardiac Care patients. Based on the first few cases, there is a lot of excitement at the information generated. As for the patients, they were more than pleasantly surprised at being the focus of such a comprehensive follow up, which not only reminds them of their next appointments, but also addresses their fears and gets back with responses from the medical community.

Contacted two years after her heart surgery one of the patients said – “Its wonderful to not even worry about my next appointment. I feel truly cared for ! Thank you”

“We are seeing results almost instantly – much earlier than we could have ever anticipated” says the Medical Director of the hospital. He also said that he keenly awaited the completion of the pilot program so that they could more full force ahead.
